Booking

All tours must be booked by 2 weeks  before the tour. If difficulty on booking on line will be encountered, please contact us by email.

Confirmation

Confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours after completion of booking. The confirmation email will contain the following information:

1) Meeting place and time, 2) map, 3) emergency contact details,  4) general directions, 5) tour guide information.

If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check your spam folder or contact us directly.

Payment

Payment must be made before the tour. Please make a payment after you receive the confirmation email.

Cancellations

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the tour date. 

 Weather

We basically hold tours rain or shine. we recommend that you check the weather forecast to guide you on the proper wear for the day. You might also want to bring an umbrella.

In the case the the cruise boat can not operate due to the bad weather situation,　you will be informed that at the meeting point. Although we can provide an alternative plan to visit Hikone Castle instead, you can cancel the tour if you are not interested in the castle visit.

Safety

We will be of help, however, yours and your dependent's safety will be your ultimate responsibility. Since food is a big part of the tour, please advice us of any allergies to food before partaking.

Gratuities

Tour fee does not include gratuities. You are welcome to give out but not obligated.

 Pets

Pets are not allowed on any of our tours. As much as we love them, other guests might have potential allergies.

Our responsibilities and exemptions

Any damage accidentally or intentionally caused by us will be compensated. The damage must be reported within two years from when it happened.

We don't compensate under the following circumstances:

a) natural disasters, b) accident or fire of transportations, c) sudden operation stop of transportation or accommodation.

Insurance

Insurance is not included in the tour. Please make sure to have your own insurance appropriate to your needs before joining the tour.
